Park-e Laleh is a well-kept public park in the center of
Tehran. Planned by the
former queen Farah Pahlavi and designed by a French gardener, it was opened in
1966.
Today it is a one of the biggest parks in Tehran and a popular meeting spot for
Tehranis. Laleh Park is
an urban oasis in the crazy Tehran where you enjoy some
quiet and peaceful moments.
Laleh Park provides pathways for walking and lots of green shady areas to sit
down, have a picnic or play badminton. There are also plenty of benches to
have a rest and watch people.
The two museums “Carpet Museum of Iran” and “Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art”
are also conveniently located in Laleh Park.
There are also some coffee and food places just outside of the Park.
