Aram Hostel in Mashhad

Traveling to Mashhad always brings the visitors face to face with the issue of accommodation. There is a total of eight suites in the hostel; 6 mini suites (20-25 m2) and 2 junior suites (60 m2). All the suites include en-suite showers and bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. The hostel doesn’t have a restaurant but you can order different and delicious meals from the restaurants nearby to be delivered to your rooms. The facilities in suites also include heaters and water-based air-conditioners for different times of the year. In fact, the service is much more satisfying than those of cheap hotels. Another major asset of Aram Hostel is its great access to Mashhad tourist attractions including Imam Reza Shrine, the biggest mosque in the world. Mashhad is a city with the largest number of religious historic spots. It is just a 15 minutes’ walk to the site of the shrine. Other attractions in the vicinity of the hostel include Malek Abad Garden, Toroq Forest Park, Bazaar Reza and Tomb of Nader Shah. For longer journeys across the town you can use the city’s excellent subway lines. Seventeen September Metro Station is only a few walks away from the hostel and allows a fast and easy access to various destinations in the city. With all the features above, it is no question that Aram Hostel is an ideal budget accommodation in Mashhad for those of you who prefer modest lodging options with the best locations.

We stayed at Aram Hostel in early July and was taken good care of by Jamshidi, his wife and son. The room was clean and very cheap. Jamshidi's wife made us breakfast and dinner, and we enjoyed our meals very much. Jamshidi helped us find a few places on the map and his son took us to the bus terminal for Yazd. They are just very friendly and we felt very safe staying with them. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Aram Hostel in Mashad. I felt warmly welcomed and found true hospitality from the hosts. In the kitchen I found everything I needed, which wasnt much, as breakfast was abundant and delicious (vegetables, bread, cheese, butter, homemade jam, eggs, and of course tea! if you like with milk) and all for just 1€! The hosts are a lovely couple living upstairs who helped me find my way around and even helped me get train tickets and medicine. Jamshidi speaks really well English and with his wife you can practice your Farsi. Her food is delicious! You might meet some friendly Iranian students also staying in some of the rooms, which just adds even more to the authentic feeling of this place. For a pleasant and safe stay in mashad including hot showers and a good sleep I recommend everybody to stay here - last but not least its very conveniently located close to the bus and metro Station (hefdeh shahrivar) going to the Train Station and to the Airport.
