The village in which Rivas Guesthouse is located is

called Meymad Village. This village that is now a World Heritage Site includes
350 hand-dug rocky houses that date back to 12000 years ago and is for sure one
the oldest extant human dwellings on earth. Many families have kept their ancient style

Kerman Rhubarb Fields
The word Rivas is a Farsi word that means rhubarb. The
reason behind this naming is the rhubarb fields that one can find in the
vicinity of Dehno Farokhzad village in which Rivas Guesthouse is located. Every
spring, when the rhubarb fields are abloom, there come many people to enjoy the
amazing beauty of the fields.

available at this place.
2. There is a partly shaded garden at this
guesthouse in
which the guests get together and socialize.
3. There are two small pools in the house; one is a
reservoir to water the plants and the other one is used by kids to splash around
in hot summers.
4. There are both Iranian and western toilets in this
place.
5. There is a parking lot inside the garden.
