The design and architecture of Ramsar palace had been a joined project between Iranian and European architects and artists. The material used in the construction of the palace is white veined marble. A large porch supported by four marble pillars form the front view of the palace. The interior of the building is decorated with priceless handmade furniture and many paintings from some of the most famous painters in the world. In the wake of the revolution, Mostazafan Foundation took hold of the palace and turned it into a museum. The complex includes the precious royal ivory collection, with stunning statues and artifacts from all over the world. The Anthropology Museum presents items belonging to various ethnicities in Iran and is a great way of knowing the ways and lifestyles of old Iranians.
