poetry transformed a small group into a growing religious movement which, after
his death, spread out of the great Persia all the way to Syria and Asia Minor as

Safaviyya changed hands until it was ultimately
designated to Shah Ismail who built the foundations of one of the most powerful
dynasties in the region which would later be known as the Safavid Empire.
